i think this website is quite possibly one of the worst things going right now. the unbridled (and misplaced) optimism is bad enough but i think what's more dangerous is all of the expectations it seeks to instill in its readership. i know there must be 20,000 sad, sad girls who monitor the site on a daily basis and i feel sorry for each and everyone of them. my biggest problem is that it creates unhealthy expectations for what a marriage should or shouldn't be.

i have a lot more to say about this but am too frustrated to say it at this point.

I recently discovered that all of my Jim Jarmusch movies are lost/missing. I believe they may have been lost during my recent move to an estate in Ponte Vedra Beach. My life feels very incomplete, and I shudder to think of other unequivocal pieces of cinema that could have been lost in the shuffle. Luckily netflix is coming to the rescue.
